Old Sheldon Church Ruins.

I don't know why, but I love abandoned places and ruins. I have wanted to visit the Old Sheldon Church for years, and I'm glad I finally got to see it on Monday. It is located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by huge oak trees covered in Spanish moss with gravestones encircling it. This church has seen the Revolutionary War and the Civil War up close and personal - the British and the Yankees both sought to destroy it. It's a little eerie, as you can still see the evidence of fire damage on the bricks.
