At around 10 p.m last night Winnie asked to be taken out in the pouring rain and pitch black, so what else could I do? Say no to this face?

Anyway, I don't normally walk around my neighborhood at night, and on one street I noticed this street lamp nestled into a beautiful tree. 

Now I know there is nothing unusual or significant about a street lamp next to a tree, but for some reason I saw a painting of a giant tree, next to a tiny lamp post - in almost a fairy tale kind of surreal style. 

Thus the very bare outline for my next painting.

I'm really enjoying painting clouds! I think it's something I might try playing with more.
