I started a new painting yesterday afternoon. It's something pretty different for me - I'm only using a pallet knife to paint with. Here's what I've got done so far.

Well I really thought I was done with this painting on Sunday, and then I started changing it up again. It was going to be a summer picture with leaves on the trees, but I think I've changed my mind. Here's a few updated pictures. I'll be finished with this probably on Thursday or Friday.

Not sure why I always paint tree lined roads in Autumn. I'm sure a psychologist would tell me something meaningful about that. Honestly, I just think they are beautiful - especially the old oak lined roads here in Charleston.

These colors are super washed out because of the dark room I took the picture in.
