Painting #26: Blue Birds. (Finished.)

I've had a bit of a strange week so far - I had the day off today and decided to see if I could start and finish a painting in one sitting. I knew I wanted to use the color red and wanted to do something with prairie and flowers. What I created I think is probably the corniest thing I've ever painted. But practice is practice!

Inspired by the Olympics I used a whole bunch of cut up international stamps in the background.

Painting #24: Snow in July (Finished.)

I think it's easy to understand why I wanted to paint snow in the middle of July.
Also I had a wonderful time in Iowa and have some great ideas for my next paintings!

#23 (Finished) and #24 (Finished I Think)

I think I'm done with this but I might come back after vacation and dye the background images blue. I haven't decided on whether I should blend them or have them stick out.

Painting #23: Rainy Day (Finished.)

I finished my 23 painting today but I can't share a picture just yet! The painting is a gift to a friend, so I'll upload a picture later this week! Also, I will be road tripping to Iowa a week from today and will probably (hopefully) have another painting done before I leave.
